I am Samuel Burton a 36 year old artist from West Yorkshire. I Paint cityscapes in oil with a nod to the impressionists and Hopper.I am interested in atmosphere evoked by light effects and weather.
I have been a professional artist for over 6 years. I have exhibited around Yorkshire, including solo exhibitionas at the theatre Royal in Wakefield and the Light in Leeds. I just saw you on Show Me The Monet and i felt i just had to email you and express how much i loved your painting.
It doesnt matter to me one little bit that i dont know the street you had painted as i feel its a beautiful painting and it touched me deeply. If you’re British you know a street somewhere that this painting would bring to mind and make you smile.
